[Tutorial] How configurate mumble (the communication software used by the TTTLA) ?

Introduction :

The TTT lawyer Agency uses a vocal communication device named « Mumble » (similar to programs such as Ventrilo or TeamSpeak).

1) Download the software :

2) Launch the setup then run the software

3) Configure your favorite :

You can add the "TTTLA mumble" to your favorite.

Severname : Type the name of the favorite as what you want it to appear (not important)
Adress : s1.mymumble.fr
Port : 20991
Username : Type your nickname

If you have typed these informations properly, you can now connect to the mumble of TTTLA.

4) Define a shortcut to "whisper" :

The first thing to do is to be able to speak when you push down a define shortcut, the next section will help you if you don’t know how it works.

a) Configurate your microphone in “push-to-talk” :

You just have to go in Configure>Settings. You will have this window :





b) Define the “whisper” shortcut (= to speak only in your current channel) :

Go in Configure>Settings.



Follow these instructions :

1°) Go in Shortcuts section.
2°) Click on “Add” button
3°) Chose “Whisper” in “Function” field
4°) Double click on the three dots on “Data” field.
5°) Chose the “Whisper to Channel” option
6°) Select “Current” parameter in the channel target box.
7°) Uncheck “Whisper to Linked channels” and “Whisper to subchannels” options
8°)     Save these parameters by clicking on “Ok”
9°) Define your own shortcut to speak to your channel (The shortcut is “F” in the exemple)
10°) Check if it works

5) Additional notes :
1) To disable this annoying voice speaking all the time, go to "Configure" and uncheck "Text-To-Speech" option.
2) You can configurate mumble in your own language in Configure>Settings>User interface section .
